Position Title: Graduate Assistant,
Department: Athletics
Supervisor: Head Football Coach

General Job Description
Cumberland University is now accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for the 2016-2017 school year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in all aspects of the program, recruiting, evaluating, and mentoring student-athletes, promoting and marketing the program, participate in practices, developing and training, and fundraising. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, proficient in using HUDL, strong interpersonal skills, communication, leadership, and organization.

Standard Expectations
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Coach and assist during practices and matches
Develop and facilitate practices

· Monitor grades, academic progress, and study Halls

· Assist with all aspects of the program

· Assist with branding and marketing the program

· Actively participate in community service events

· Assist with recruiting potential student-athletes

Compensation
The successful candidate will receive full tuition and room and board with full meal plan.
(No Stipend)

Qualifications
Applicants must have taken the GRE or GMAT and apply to Cumberland University’s graduate program. Cumberland University offers graduate programs in Arts & Education, Business Administration, Science in Public Service Management and Master of Science of Sports Exercise Pedagogy.
