Head Wrestling Position - Carrollton High School, Carrollton Ga

Posted about 11 and a half years ago by CARROLLTONTROJAN

Carrollton High School is searching for a Head Wrestling Coach. We have several teaching positions opening up throughout our system (CES, CMS, CJHS, CHS) across all subjects areas. All positions will carry a highly competitive supplement for the coaching aspects, various teaching openings will be available.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and organized coach. Wrestling must be a burning passion, not just a hobby, we're not looking for a 3 month coach. We wrestle a highly competitive schedule at all levels, attending the best tournaments in the State and Southeast. Additionally, we wrestle a full June summer schedule going to 5 competitions and attending 2 summer camps. Our budget is highly competitive with little to no fundraising required to facilitate all we do year round.

The past 4 years:

2015 - Traditional Finish 5th - 1 State Champ, 3 State place winners (returning 12 of 14 weights for 2015-2016). Dual Tournament - Top 6 losing in the semis and conso-semis. Region Dual Champs, Traditional Area Runner Up.

2014 - Traditional Finish 5th - 3 State Champs

2013 - Traditional Finish 2nd - 3 State Champs, 8 State place winners. Dual finish 4th. Region Duals Runner Up, Traditional Area Runner Up.

2012- Traditional Finish 3rd - 2 State Champs, 5 State place winners. Region Dual Champs, Traditional Area Champs.

Our Jr. High School has grown tremendously over the last 3 years. We currently have 40+ 6-8th grade wrestlers every season, again competing every weekend in tough USA and region events.
