Wrestling Coach Opening at De Anza High School

Posted about 12 years ago by R Tucker

De Anza High School is looking for a highly qualified wrestling coach. De Anza High School is a newly constructed high school in El Sobrante, CA, approximately 10 miles north of Berkeley.

It is preferred that candidates have college wrestling experience and/or HS coaching experience, and can coach Freestyle and Greco-Roman as well. De Anza is looking for an individual who is willing to build a year-round program, but a program that can also work with other sports in developing our student-athletes athletically and academically. We want an individual who, over time, is willing and capable of developing a program that reaches beyond the high school campus and establishes middle school and elementary programs (Clovis model).
Additional requirements include: TB test and fingerprinting, and CPR and First Aid certification. Additionally, ASEP or NFHS CA Coaching Certification and Concussion Certification is mandated by the CIF for all high school coaches.
