PT Assistatn Wrestling Coach, Lindenwood University-Belleville

Location: Lindenwood University-Belleville, Belleville, IL

Purpose of Position: Help assist with the men/women wrestling program

Duties & Responsibilities: Part-time wrestling coach at Lindenwood University�Belleville will be responsible for helping with all wrestling activities at the school. He/she will be responsible for helping with recruitment associated with the team and will ensure that all team athletes are certified to participate according to all institutional guidelines. The part-time assistant coach will also help with planning and organizing all team activities, such as practices, team workouts, and any other event(s) that he/she deems necessary.

The PT coach will also help with scheduling activities. This includes, but is not limited to, contacting other universities to plan team schedules and coordinating travel arrangements with LU�Belleville and opposing schools. The position will include work on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Position Requirements: The successful candidate must have wrestled at the college level for four years. Candidates should possess a strong collegiate background in wrestling, good organizational and management skills, knowledge of freestyle wrestling and experience with same, and good recruiting skills.

Education Requirements: Bachelor�s degree from an accredited four-year university

Experience Requirements: College wrestling experience, both folkstye and freestyle

Hours/Days: Days, nights, weekends
