Smith is in his 18th year as the head wrestling coach at Oklahoma State University. During this tenure his teams have won five NCAA titles. The Cowboys will face top-ranked Iowa on Jan. 18 in Stillwater.
As a wrestler, Smith was a six-time World and Olympic champion and a two-time NCAA champion. He is generally considered the best freestyle wrestler this country has produced.
