With the win, the former Buckeye is now 19-3 in his pro career launched in May 2011. Perhaps more important, the 31-year-old Palmer will return to the PFL featherweight playoffs again, having won the first two rounds this season. Palmer won the first-season tournament, taking home the $1 million grand prize.
Prior to entering MMA, Lance Palmer was a four-time Ohio high school state champion wrestler (and the subject of a documentary titled "Pinned."). At Ohio State, Palmer was a four-time NCAA All-American and Big Ten champion.
