Wasn't the '97 championships held at The University of Northern Iowa in the UNI dome, a football stadium?

You are correct. Good catch! I just made a minor edit -- added the word "professional" in front of "football" in the opening paragraph, since, to my knowledge, the NCAAs have been held in a college football dome (UNI-Dome) but not in an indoor NFL facility.
